Joe Clark is in a hospital in Memphis after a seriously horrible car crash. Sunday night, he was driving in rural Mississippi when "something" happened, he ran off the road, his car went airborn and flipped several times. Morgan is 71, he can't be sustaining no injuries like this! He's right now in serious condition! more »

Luda ain't mad that Obama had to "chin check him" for making outlandish comments about McCain and Hillary during a recent diss song he recorded about them. Ludacris, like so many young black folks, is backing Obama 100%--but overstepped his boundaries when talking about the candidate's political rivals. OK, black folks, this is new uncharted territory, you KNOW we ain't been this close to having a brother in the white house. I'm gonna need everybody to chill out and stop cutting a fool. And like grandmomma used to say, if you don't know what to do or how to act, then sit down some where and shut the hell up... more »

I was at the babershop with my son and husband this weekend while they were getting haircuts. It had been a longggg time since I'd been in a black barber shop--and even longer since I'd been hanging out at a "hood shop". I forgot just how ghetto they can be. Child support checks must had just arrived cause er'rebody's baby momma was in their getting all their kids hair cut. And I was reminded at the tremendous shopping opportunities that are available while you wait. You can buy everything from bootleg DVDs to marijuana to hard liquor on Sundays... more »
